Country reporting can use a valid Cloudflare country header or a locally configured GeoLite2 Country MMDB database that you are licensed to use.

Privacy-aware event records

The current analytics design does not save visitor IP addresses in event records. Site owners should still review their own privacy obligations.

GeoLite2 Country setup

For local country detection, use the GeoLite2 Country database in MMDB binary format (.mmdb). CSV files are not the format used by the plugin's local MMDB reader. Obtain and maintain the database in accordance with the provider's terms; it is not bundled with the plugin.
